**About the Role**

The Head of Education Technology is responsible for leading technology innovation at the School. This role will focus on collaboratively developing strategy and delivering solutions that genuinely improve student learning outcomes and ensure alignment with the School’s strategic plan. The role will be responsible for creating a positive and progressive culture of IT-related pedagogy in and beyond the classroom, for the efficient integration of IT systems across the School, and the oversight of the IT team.

**About You**

You are dedicated, passionate, and possess the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong skills in project planning and management
- A creative and pragmatic approach to the implementation of technology with a focus on improving student learning outcomes
- Evidence of innovative practices and the integration of IT to support rich teaching and learning experiences
- Ability to translate the complexities of technologies into simple and elegant solutions that foster strong user adoption and reduce the cognitive load of teachers
- Experience in managing technical (infrastructure) teams and in managing IT Integrator resources K - 12
- Extensive experience with a variety of IT systems in an educational environment including LMS, SMS, and administration.
