**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**One of our amazing People & Culture Coordinators is going on parental leave soon, so we're looking for someone to join our**
**friendly, close knit team**
**in a fixed term full time role for 12 months as a parental leave cover.**

This role would suit a Human Resources (HR) professional at the administrator/coordinator stage of their career with an understanding of HR processes who is searching for opportunities to further their growth and development into a generalist capacity, specifically, seeking to gain experience and exposure in the area of recruitment. The current P&C Coordinators are currently mostly working from home so training and induction will take place mostly via Zoom, and we also have a city office available which we attend at times and are working towards more regular attendance.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Our P&C Coordinators are essential to the smooth operation of the team.** They are responsible for the operational P&C processes and deliverables, recruitment support and maintaining high standards of service delivery to the business.
- ***

**General**
- Generating and sending employment agreements and commencement paperwork to new employees, including monitoring and actioning the returned commencement documents (soon to be online via our Onboarding Centre)
- Preparation, review and processing of various letters and other P&C documents in line with changes to employment conditions and other requests such as statements of service
- Notifying our IT department of employee terminations and changes
- Maintenance of the company structure in our HRIS
- Preparing and maintaining ongoing probationary period reporting and send out probationary review reminders to managers
- Administration of our Reward & Recognition and Years of Service Program via our online platform
- Set up and enrolment of new employees as well as troubleshooting in our online performance and learning system

**Recruitment**
- Recruitment support to P&C Business Partners and the wider business as required
- Phone screening
- Booking interviews for our hiring managers
- Conducting reference checks

**Other**
- Assisting the P&C Business Partners with projects in areas of interest
- Ad hoc administrative assistance to the wider team

**ABOUT YOU**

**Key Experience & Skills**:

- **Demonstrated ability to**:

- Manage competing priorities effectively to meet deadlines
- Engage with team members and internal clients to build strong relationships
- Maintain high standards of accuracy of work
- Exposure to and understanding of employee life cycle
- **Skills**:

- Clear, professional and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience producing contracts (from templates), professional letters and other documents
- Intermediate level of skills in Excel and a good understanding of spreadsheets and data manipulation
- Strong administrative and procedural skills
- Efficient, organised high attention to detail and able to manage time effectively
- Team player with initiative, integrity and problem-solving skills

It is not essential that to hold a qualification in Human Resources, but it would be beneficial.
