**Responsibilities**:

- Complete repair/remanufacture works orders according to set schedules.
- Report and advise incoming goods for repairs.
- Check that parts lists are accurate, inform of amendments where required.
- Maintain plant / machinery defects as necessary
- Ensure all works order documents (reports, test reports, inventory issues) are recorded and filed
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant Acts and Regulations and with professional ethical standards
- Advise on inventory issues, problems and potential solutions.
- Ensure EH&S standards are adhered to and that potential hazards are rectified and or reported

**Job requirements**:

- Knowledge of hydraulic components with basic understanding of how to disassemble, assemble and test.
- Application of Hydraulic fittings, hose and tube work.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering / Fitting principles
- Previous Mechanical fitting / machining experience.

**Preferred Skills**
- Medium-level communication skills, written & verbal.
- Product and technical knowledge

**Qualifications/Education**:

- Relevant industry qualifications (Mechanical Trade or TAFE Equivalent)
