Our client is an established service provider to the Oil & Gas sector, who have been operating across Australia for over 20 years. Having grown the business successfully throughout this time they have decided to add a Trainee Offshore Technician (with mechanical experience) to the team.

Whilst many companies claim to have a supportive family like culture, this client’s claims can be seen by the length of time people stay with the business. In this sector most businesses have a high turnover of employees. Most of the people in this company have been with the business more than 5 years.

**Focus of the Role.**

To start your focus will be on mechanical maintenance and repairs of tools and equipment in the Oil and Gas industry. The long-term plan for this role is to progress into a full service technical supporting the company’s offshore and onshore operations.

**For this role we are ideally looking for**:

- Experience working/on with machinery (small engines/cars is desirable)
- A great attitude, willing and ready to learn
- Team player who gets along with others easily
- Switched on and attentive, someone who picks things up quickly
- Desire to learn about the Oil & Gas industry and work offshore as you progress.
