Seeking a motivated Childcare Educator with Certificate III level qualification.

The role of Childcare Educator - Cert III includes:

- Being a motivated and engaged member of the Childcare team focussing on the daily education and care of the children attending the service.
- Having a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Assisting in the educational program that contributes to the following outcomes for each child:

- the child will have a strong sense of identity;
- the child will be connected with and contribute to his or her world;
- the child will have a strong sense of wellbeing;
- the child will be a confident and involved learner;
- the child will be an effective communicator
- assessments of the child's developmental needs, interests, experiences and participation in the educational program; and
- assessments of the child's progress against the outcomes of the educational program
- To assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the daily program for all the children at the service.
- To assist in the planning and preparing the environment, setting up interest services, preparing and clearing away materials and supplies.
- To contribute to the documentation of individual children’s learning through portfolios and ensuring they are maintained.
- Have an actively anti bias approach which is reflected in interactions with children, families and staff.
- Keep up to date with current developments in the Early Childhood field.
- Be a team player
- Have a passion for Childcare

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 37 per week

**Salary**: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
