**About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to contribute to patient care by providing advanced level therapy support to patients with swallowing and/or communication deficits delegated under the supervision of a speech pathologist. This includes direct intervention with individuals and their significant others as well as activities within a group setting.

About you

Provision of individual and group activities as directed by the speech pathologist (including computer or device-based therapy programs and communication/swallowing exercise programs), to patients with diverse and complex medical conditions with mínimal direct supervision.
Communicate effectively with patients, speech pathologists, other hospital staff and work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team within the boundaries and scope of the role.
Provide supervision, mentoring and support to CA3 speech pathology staff including leading, training and education to enhance CA3 staff clinical competency and practice.
