Procurement Manager

**What you will be doing:
- Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of staff as required.
- Undertake category planning, market demand and cost analysis, risk management, sourcing activities, supplier performance management and category performance management.
- Work with cross agency working groups to deliver good governance and category objectives.
- Represent the department and Queensland Government Procurement, promoting GGS at industry and stakeholder events.
- Partner with key suppliers and industry representatives to deliver innovation and value for Queensland.
- Drive strategic and innovative initiatives to assist government agencies to meet their objectives.
- Undertake future focused planning, ensuring decisions are data driven and evidence based, with measurable and defensible outcomes.
- Undertake all procurement activities with integrity and due consideration to probity, ensuring that all actions are transparent.
- Assist and provide advice to government agencies using GGS supply arrangements, improving procurement capability across the government.
