W Brisbane located at 81 North Quay, Brisbane City is hiring a Purchasing Clerk. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage the financial and administrative aspects of purchasing operations, ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Receive, unload and process deliveries and account for incoming goods based on invoice and receiving reports
- Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs
- Stage merchandise by department and deliver merchandise to appropriate departments
- Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy
- Receive, store, ship and deliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail
- Maintain accurate tracking system on all shipping and receiving transactions, including receiving guest signatures for received packages.
- Communicate with proper management regarding any loss or damage with packages
- Follow all national, state and local hazardous material shipping guidelines and regulations
