Volunteer Coordinator

**ABOUT THE ORGANISATION**

Fresh Start is a not-for-profit organisation concentrating on detoxing and developing a drug-free lifestyle. Their unique and comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment approach has helped over 14,000 people and their families out of the vicious cycle of addiction.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Fresh Start relies on its volunteers to help provide support for those going through their drug and alcohol programme. Fresh Start is looking for a compassionate and committed Volunteer Coordinator who can harness their previous experience to manage their volunteers.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a well-organised and people-orientated Volunteer Coordinator, you will oversee the volunteer life cycle. This role will be directly reporting to the CEO.

The key responsibilities include:

- Coordinate the recruitment and selection practices
- Promote volunteering through appropriate recruitment strategies and platforms
- Interview and thoroughly screen volunteers
- Coordinate the medical student volunteers from the universities
- Maintain relationships and clearly communicate with the universities
- Induct all volunteers working in different departments
- Organise and create a working roster for volunteers
- Provide pastoral oversight for all volunteers
- Provide advice and direction to volunteers
