We’re on the hunt for a commercially focused sales leader to join our QLD Leadership team in the role of **Head of Regional Sales - QLD**. Reporting to the Executive General Manager - QLD and the Chief Sales Officer, you will be responsible for maximising profitability across all of SCA's regional Queensland markets through the effective and efficient management of our audio, digital and TV sales teams.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Set, implement and communicate long and short-term revenue growth strategies and direction at the local level across the market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and employees within the local market as well as key accounts/agencies.
- Develop and grow Sales Coordinators, Account Managers, Sales Managers and General Managers, including ensuring regular individual training and In Field Coaching.
- Prepare revenue projection reports and lost business reports.
- Ensure customer needs analysis and creative problem solving is used effectively and customer focused proposals are prepared using customer focused selling templates.
- Assist in the development of budgets and business and strategy plans to increase client retention and new business
- Assist the development of marketing strategies in relation to the team’s customer focused selling principles and the utilisation of station resources by Account Managers to maximise opportunities.
**Experience we’re looking for**:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adopt and using a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to customers both internally and externally
- Experience successfully leading, coaching, and mentoring a high-performing media sales team as a senior leader
- Strong negotiation skills and able to ensure value is maximised for both clients and the business
- Superior Presentation Skills an able to deliver attractive, accurate and customer focused communication
- Experience as a Sales Manager across multiple markets
- A strong local network and knowledge of the local and interstate media landscape
