We are looking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic **Accessible Technology Specialist **to join our Federal Government client The position will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to provide advice and operational support, including assisting employees to navigate our clients systems with their teams and identifying accessible solutions to mitigate barriers.

This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this **12 month contract **with **an additional 24 months of** **extensions **offered.

**Australian Citizens **will be considered for this role.

**The experience and skills for this role are**:

- Demonstrated experience delivering ICT support services, with knowledge in Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 (including Microsoft Office and other cloud services).
- Demonstrated experience providing configuration and ongoing support for Assistive Technology software and hardware solutions.
- Demonstrated a strong commitment to meeting agreed work targets and standards.
- Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems.
- Proven experience producing a range of documentation from simple work instructions to business proposals (outlining requirements and implementation strategies).
- Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agencies.
- Knowledge or experience working in an ICT service desk environment
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian accessibility standards and guidelines
- Speciality in Assistive Technology software, such as (but not limited to) JAWS and/or Dragon Naturally Speaking.
- Understanding the key issues and barriers faced by people with disability, injury or illness.
