**WE’RE LOOKING FOR A COACH**
Do you love working with children and have a passion for sports? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Grasshopper Soccer, where fun and education meet on the field If you're enthusiastic, committed, and have at least 6 months of coaching experience or have worked in a similar role, this position could be perfect for you.
**Role Overview**:
- **Location**: Coaching sessions at a new venue in the Mount Barker area, starting from July 27.
- **Schedule**: Saturdays from 8:30 am to 11:30 am for 8 weeks during each school term.
- **Training**: Paid training will be provided at Urrbrae on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
**Key Attributes**:
- Upbeat and outgoing attitude towards coaching and engaging with children.
- Proven ability to run Grasshopper Soccer games and activities on a weekly basis.
- Strong behaviour management skills to maintain a fun and respectful environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills for planning and executing sessions.
- Must possess own transport and a valid driver's license.
- Required to have or be able to obtain a DCSI Working with Children check ASAP.
- First Aid certification is necessary (or must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment).
- Availability on Saturdays is required.
- Commitment to the full 8-week term of our soccer program.
- Most importantly, the ability to make soccer fun for our young athletes
**Experience**:
- While you don’t need to be a soccer expert, some experience in soccer is preferable.
- High experience level can lead to a management role immediately.
- Must have at least 6 months of experience in coaching or a similar role working with children.
**Training & Development**:
- Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to equip you with the knowledge and skills to succeed in your role.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 per week

- Morning shift
