We are currently seeking a Sustainability Advisor to support our Property Sustainability Services team, on a full-time basis, based in Adelaide.
Reporting to the Sustainability Director, the primary purpose of this role is to develop strategies and identify tactics to deliver contract outcomes that support the achievement of clients sustainability targets.
You will deliver a range of strategies and identify tactics to deliver contract outcomes that support the achievement of clients sustainability targets, including but not limited to:

- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities in relation to each clients energy, resource and waste footprints
- As required, develop Energy, Emissions, Waste and Water Minimisation Strategies and/or Action Plans and tailor these Strategies/Plans for each client.
- Oversee the monitoring of and reporting against Sustainability KIPs and provide specialist input
- Actively engage and work with the Project teams and the supply chain to ensure the services comply with Ventia and the State's minimum sustainability requirements
- Be proactive in the facilitation of the monitoring of emissions and energy usage at Agency facilities
- Identify opportunities to deliver improvements in the energy efficiency of Agency assets and present these initiatives to the Client
- Identify, design and present/implement a range of sustainability programs such as a program to minimise waste, increase recycling and maximise the use of products made from recycled materials or with a lower environmental impact

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Relevant training and qualifications in Environmental/Sustainability Studies, Science,
- Engineering and/or related discipline.
- Experience in sustainability initiative identification and sustainability project management.
- A sound understanding of industry Corporate Social Responsibility Frameworks and
- other Sustainability related legislations.
- An understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Climate
- Active experience preferred.
- Skilled using Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment.
- Proficiency and experience with the use of PowerBI favoured.
