What will you do?
We are experiencing significant growth across our ACT region and as a result we are seeking an experienced Integrated Water Planning Manager who will be responsible for leading Aurecon’s engagement with water utilities, water management authorities, and Territory and Commonwealth government departments in Canberra and surrounding regions.
As the Integrated Water Planning Manager, you will co-develop and lead the delivery of infrastructure advisory, strategic planning, capital program development & delivery, and asset management projects with clients.- helping our local clients navigate the issues that matter to them and us (e.g. adapting to climate changes, transitioning to Net Zero, delivering great service to customers), and- provide leadership to tenders and project delivery across Australia and New Zealand.
A key component of the role will require you to connect with and grow our capability and create teams dedicated to delivering Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM) advisory, planning, design, and asset delivery services.
What can you bring to the team?
Importantly, to be successful in this role, you will showcase your passion for Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM), sustainable and liveable communities, and delivering value to our clients’ customers and communities.
You will bring experience in water resource and/or asset planning and strategy. Management and leadership experience in consulting, utility, and/or government departments are highly regarded. Moreover, you will have experience in leading asset strategy and planning projects and teams within the water sector.
As the Integrated Water Planning Manager, you will bring strong existing relationships with ACT & region water utilities, ACT Government, Commonwealth departments with water portfolios, and other water utilities in NSW, or the ability to build them.
