Experienced Cartage Coordinator for International Freight Forwarder

**The Position
- CARTAGE COORDINATOR**
As my client's business has gone from strength to strength, they are now seeking an **EXPERIENCED CARTAGE COORDINATOR **to join the operations team. Reporting to the Operations Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor availability of cargo for both air and sea (FCL & LCL)
- Ensure all Customs and AQIS requirements are completed, including ACA and SCA
- Liaise with AQIS/Customs regarding inspections and holds
- Liaise with clients to obtain Bills of Lading and arrange payment of disbursement invoices through our AP system
- Liaise with transport companies to coordinate time slots for pick-up and delivery of cargo and confirm deliveries with clients
- Monitor and coordinate return of empty containers
- Collate clearance and transport documentation for timely deliveries
- Ensure all costs are recorded and creditors invoices are approved for payment
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Cartage Coordinator role
- Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology
- High attention to detail with effective organisation skills
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy work environment
- Strong client focus towards delivering high quality services
- A team player
- EDI, and RACA experience preferred however not essential
- DG Accredited experience preferred however not essential
