**The Company**

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Accounts Payable Team Leader to join a well-established and growing not for profit organisation based in the Inner East Suburbs of Melbourne.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will lead a team of 3 responsible for monitoring operational day-to-day accounts payable activities such as invoice processing, weekly/month end payments, vendor account reconciliation, and ensuring operational best practice is maintained. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Processing invoices using non-PO and with PO methods
- Supplier statements reconciliation
- Process cheques and electronic transfer payments
- Acting as first escalation point of contact for supplier's unresolved issues
- Ensure a consistent approach to operational processes and procedures
- Maintain a customer service focus within the team
- Perform other duties as directed by Accounts Payable Manager

**Your Profile**

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated skills in end-to-end accounts payable duties, with prior experience leading a small team. You will possess and intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups) and be systems savvy.

Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
