**About the Program**

Join our vibrant team providing innovative disability services to young people, individuals and families on the Upper North Shore of Sydney - Waitara

The role of Area Coordinator will report to the General Manager Disability Futures and will be responsible for leading a team of highly committed, person-centred staff delivering a variety of financially viable programs for people living with a disability and funded under the National Disability Insurance Scheme and in line with CatholicCare’s mission and strategic objectives..

**This role is responsible for**:

- Provide leadership to staff and participants on site
- Develop and maintain positive, engaged relationships with clients and families, key staff in the NDIS, other service providers and agencies
- Developing strategies to achieve new client acquisition and client retention objectives
- Ensure the financial viability of the service and its offerings and compliance with NDIS adhering to budget at all times
- Leadership that models a positive environment where a welcoming, professional culture exists
- Promote a proactive ‘risk-aware’ culture

**The key requirements for this role include**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Minimum qualification of Diploma in Community Services
- Ability to plan and implement new and innovative programs
- Be actively involved in staff planning
- Strong relationship building, negotiation skills and time management
- Sound budget management skills and financial literacy
