**About the role**

The role of Practice Manager for our Child, Youth & Family related programs is to oversee the day to day strategic and operational tasks of the programs with focus on improving the wellbeing and safety for children in the community.

This is a Permanent, Full-time position.

**Duties**
- Positive and professional engagement with Direct Reports
- Achieve the financial objectives of each contract/program by assisting with budgeting etc
- Meet contractual objectives of each program by delivering services through developed program standards with the focus on client experience
- Actively seek, identify, prepare and instigate opportunities for new business and growth areas for CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay including identifying resourcing to respond to tendering opportunities.

**Skills & experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area (e.g: Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, Health etc.)
- Significant experience or extensive knowledge in all areas in Child Protection and working with families.
- Extensive experience in working with complex clients experiencing high risk child protection and vulnerabilities.
- Substantial experience in the Management of multidisciplinary teams, with a strong ability to build effective engaged teams with a positive work culture
- Demonstrated networking and advocacy skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated business acumen, including budgeting and financial management experience, as well as ability to grow business
- Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations and make sound decisions under pressure
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to an insured vehicle
