u&u Recruitment Partners are proud to be partnering with one of Queensland's largest employers to recruit an experienced PMO Analyst to assist in up-lifting the PMO's capability across the entire Digital & Technology function. This is an initial 6-month day rate contract + likely extensions based in Brisbane's CBD.
**Key duties for this role include**:
Develop stakeholder relationships and provide expert advice, information and recommendations to enable project delivery and cross project information consolidation and communication to support effective decision making and ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project life cycle;
Consistently focus on innovation and improvements across the PMO and contribute to project delivery in alignment with the Digital Method;
Contribute to the development and review of PMO processes and practices and identify opportunity for improved performance;
Prepare and review high-quality reports, presentations and other forms of correspondence to ensure the provision of timely and professional portfolio communications;
Work closely with PM's to gain insight to project resource demand;
Work with Customer Service Delivery Managers regarding incoming demand / initiatives;
Ensure project and program managers are fully assigned to projects and approval of timesheets;
Support the planning scheduling, monitoring and reporting on delivery of the digital portfolio; and
Identify risks and issues with portfolio structure, costs, inter-dependencies, impact on current activities and benefits realisation.
**Key skills and experience**:
At least 3-5 years' experience in previous PMO roles working on large programs;
Solid experience working in a PMO environment with strong understanding of project management, PMO and governance;
Ability to engage, lead and influence a wide variety of stakeholders;
Can-Do attitude with a focus on effectively delivering outcomes;
Knowledge in project management and project lifecycle governance practices;
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and report writing;
Advanced skills with MS Word, Project, Excel and PowerPoint;
Experience in using Jira and Confluence; and
IT or project management degree / qualifications would be highly advantageous.
