This role will see you join a government owned organisation dedicated to providing safe, secured, and efficient environmentally responsible services to the Aviation industry. The organisation has commenced a multi-year program of work to modernise their network to enable a strategic change agenda, this role will play a pivotal role in this program through overseeing and delivering finanial analysis and cost modelling activities for the Leads, Project Managers and the PMO Finance team.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for developing, analysing, and reporting on all financial aspects of the program and it’s sub streams.
- Improve and develop financial modelling framework for the program.
- Conduct financial analysis across existing project and program finances.
- Assist Program and Project Managers in development of financial projects.
- Presenting financial information, reports, and data for senior executive consumption.
- Development of financial plans, budgets, forecasts including annual capital expenditure (CAPEX) versus operational expenditure (OPEX) plans.
- Maintain and build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Demonstrated success in a similar Financial Analyst, or similar role.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
- CPA / CA membership or progression towards completion, highly desirable, however, not essential.
- Competence across SAP, Microsoft Excel, TM1 and / or Power BI, highly regarded.
- Ability to present financial information in a format suitable for senior executives and boards.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in various accounting practices, particularly with respect to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on large programs with budgets over $100m.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
