**About the Role**

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and professional first impression while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our front desk. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing all incoming inquiries and directing them appropriately
- Welcoming clients and members warmly and professionally
- Handling retail sales, payments, and customer transactions
- Overseeing diary management and general admin duties
- Maintaining entry control and monitoring facility access
- Ensuring all tasks are completed during each shift to the highest standard
- Upholding high customer service standards at all times

**Work Schedule**

This role operates on a rotating roster and may include the following shift times:

- **Morning shifts**: Between 4:30 AM and 1:00 PM on weekdays
- **Afternoon/evening shifts**: Between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM on weekdays
- **Weekend availability**: Alternate Saturdays or Sundays may be required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach to identifying customer needs and offering solutions
- Professionalism in handling customer queries and complaints
- Confidence in managing phone calls and in-person interactions
- Flexibility with availability and shift patterns
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to multitask effectively
- Experience in sales and a passion for promoting products and services
- Reliable personal transport
- A high level of reliability and responsibility

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

- fitness industry: 1 year (preferred)
