**SDG Contact Centre Team Leader (Admin and Planning) -VPS3 - Ongoing**

**About the role**:
Working in a high-volume contact centre environment, you will support a team of Service Officers handling enquiries from VCAT's user with a focus primarily on Planning & Environment, Review and Regulation and Legal Practice matters.

You will need to build rapport with your team, managers and colleagues within VCAT Operations to help drive change and improve VCAT's user experience.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - this is a demanding role in a unique service delivery environment. You will enjoy engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and will have a high level of resilience, remaining calm in high-pressure situations. Knowledge of the Planning and Environment Act (1987), Freedom of Information Act (1982), and Valuation of Land Act (1960) is highly desirable

To ensure you are set up for success in this role you will need to:

- be a highly organised and resilient team player and leader
- provide your team (onsite and remote) with ongoing support, coaching and development to allow them to perform successfully
- effectively manage resource availability
- resolve complex enquiries and escalations from VCAT's users and other stakeholders
- have excellent communication skills and be able to tailor your language to your audience
- demonstrate a proven ability to manage competing priorities
- possess well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
- have proven experience in building professional relationships at all levels
- work effectively with other internal departments
- identify and initiate areas of process improvement and best practice to enhance service delivery
- actively participate as part of the Leadership Group
