This position is an outstanding career opportunity for a Maintenance Superintendent, preferably with a background in open-cut mining. This challenging leadership role will provide diverse exposure to the Oak Park operations and our class-leading machines.

**About the company**

The National Group is a leading mining-services company in Australia. For 25 years, we have supplied heavy-earthmoving equipment and end-to-end mining services to the world's largest resource companies. Our machinery is used at flagship Australian mines to produce iron ore, coal, gold, nickel and other commodities.

**About the role**
- Permanent full-time role
- Based on Oak Park mine site (part of the Capcoal complex)
- Effectively manage work teams to ensure Safety, Availability and Reliability targets are being met
- Provide leadership and supervision to our maintenance team
- Manage the maintenance strategy and lifecycle budget for each machine
- Execute planned outcomes using the resources available
- Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders - Operations, Client, OEM's, service providers etc

**Skills & experience**
- Australian recognised trade completion certificate
- Minimum 3 years previous superintendent experience
- High level of technical skills on a diverse fleet of equipment.
- Experience working on various heavy earthmoving equipment
- Outstanding troubleshooting / diagnostic skills
- Proven Leadership in frontline maintenance
