**Console Operator-Outback South Australia**

We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Console Operator for this busy venue located in Outback South Australia.

The role involves complete day to day site operations to ensure the efficient, profitable and successful running of the site, whilst adhering to all company policies and procedures.

There are many amazing experiences in this unique location to enjoy on your days off, such as national parks, tracks, and culturally significant sites.

With a 4 day on, 4 day off roster and free accommodation provided, this is an excellent opportunity to save with plenty of time to explore.

**Package**:

- $32.76 per hour Monday-Friday
- $42.74 per hour Saturday & Sunday
- Free Accommodation
- 4 days on 4 days off

**Key accountabilities**:

- Attend to the console (Point of Sale) and customer service as required
- Keep the work area clean and tidy during and at the end of their shift
- Carry out the tasks assigned to their shift
- Work together as a team, adapt to the demands of the day and ensure all shift specific tasks are completed
- Effective communication between staff to fulfil duties and customer requirements
- Experienced staff are to provide guidance to less experienced staff on shift and monitor/check their completion of assigned tasks
- Monitor forecourt operation and safety, and food handling procedures
- Be observant of overall site cleanliness and presentation and address issues or raise them with the appropriate person.
- You are responsible to ensure the specific tasks assigned to your shift on the site’s duty sheets are completed and work together as a team to assist others where required.

The general break-up of these tasks includes:

- Customer Service
- Driveway supervision
- Food prep
- Monitor bain-marie, pies, etc.
- Assist in cleaning kitchen area & food equipment
- Barista coffee making
- Cleaning coffee station
- General cleaning
- Restocking
- Stocktake
- Customer service
- Monitor/clean driveway and exterior
- Decanting into LPG gas bottles
- Delivery LPG bottles
- General yard clean up (Dangerous goods requirement)

**Requirement and Skills**:

- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to our customers
- Maintain company reputation and represent the company as a provider of quality products and services
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Competent in the use of computers including Point of sale software and Microsoft Office programs
- Capable of implementing emergency procedures and using emergency equipment (e.g. Fire extinguishers, spill kit)
- Drivers licence
