Vac truck operator required to join our Civil operations team.

AXENT Global is a Nationwide business and due to rapid expansion, our Queensland-based operation requires a casual truck driver/labourer. We are based in Yatala and our work can vary from local areas to as far north as Cairns. We require someone who is reliable, motivated, enjoys working outdoors and not afraid to get their hands dirty. This job is physically demanding and requires someone who can work in a team environment as well as work well unsupervised. There is some travel required for this position.

Minimum requirements for this position:

- Current heavy rigid truck license with sound knowledge of all NHVR log book requirements
- Must have or be prepared to obtain White Card
- Physically capable of strenuous work outdoors
- Must be willing to work away when needed, longest time would be up to 2 weeks

Must have the following experience and strong knowledge:

- Experience in driving trucks
- Capable of using hand and power tools
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Capable of operating heavy machinery eg, jackhammer, excavator is advantageous but not required
- Strong attention to details
- Experience in civil based projects would be advantageous but not required
- Ability to complete all tasks at 100%
- Be prepared to work overtime, night works and the occasional weekend if required
- Willing to have a police background check
- Reliable and responsible
- Good driving history
- How many years experience you have as a truck driver
- If you have any machinery competency cards / tickets
- Do you have any experience working on civil infrastructure projects

- Weekend availability

- Yatala, QLD 4207: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

- HC Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
