QMR RECYCLERS is a leading player in the metal recycling industry, specializing in the purchase and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals both domestically and internationally. With over 45 dedicated staff across three sites in Queensland, we are expanding and looking for a a couple of skilled MC and HR open license driver to join our dynamic team at our Yatala yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily pre-start checklists to ensure vehicle readiness.
  • Maintain the vehicle in top condition.
  • Accurately document weights and other necessary paperwork.
  • Safely and efficiently collect and deliver goods and scrap metal using semi and body trucks.
  • Potential to assist in yard operations, including operating material handlers and excavators when needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid HR or MC license.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
  • Solid knowledge of load restraint practices.

Highly Regarded Qualifications:

  • Forklift ticket.
  • Previous experience in metal recycling.
  • Crane truck ticket.
