**The role**:
As our **Head of B&PB Strategy & Execution, **you will report to the Executive, Strategy & Execution within the Business and Private Banking Division.

You will be responsible for leading a team to **develop robust research and analysis**, prepare high quality and **compelling presentations **that communicate recommendations to Senior Executives to influence the strategic direction of NAB’s Business & Private Bank (B&PB).

You will have a good understanding of the **banking sector and trends**, including key implications for the business to inform the **strategic planning and investment process** and to evolve NAB’s B&PB strategy.

You will be proactive, able to manage **multiple streams of work**, maintain a strong customer focus, and demonstrate an ability to **coach and support** your junior team members.

You will **partner with and influence** Business Units and Enabling Units (Finance, Marketing, Digital etc) to ensure their **transformation agenda aligns** with and supports the Business & Private Bank Strategic Roadmap.

**What you will bring**:

- You are an experienced and skilled people leader who attracts talented individuals and builds a high performing team - you prioritise coaching and care deeply about the development and career aspirations of your direct reports
- You have likely worked for a well-regarded consulting firm or led a strategy team for a leading bank - you demonstrate expertise in strategy formulation and strategic planning
- You understand the financial services industry well and ideally have good knowledge of the business and private banking sector
- Developing a winning strategy is challenging but the hardest part is the execution of it - you will therefore bring experience in transformation program design, delivery and tracking
- You have strong business partnering experience and a high IQ enabling you to engage, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels
- You have exceptional strategic thinking skills with the ability to see the big picture and navigate complex challenges
- You have a positive attitude, and you bring your whole self to work
