About the role
We’re seeking a Procurement Manager to support sourcing activities across indirect corporate services categories at Transurban.

Day-to-day, you will:
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of category management plans for defined categories.- Lead the end-to-end procurement process in accordance with company procedures, including stakeholder engagement, strategy development, baseline validation, tender management, supplier negotiations, contract finalisation, supplier, and contract management.- Negotiate commercial terms to deliver best value solutions.- Support consolidation of the supplier base through negotiation of appropriate commercial supplier arrangements and/or strategic partnerships.- Support the implementation of strategic relationship management for nominated suppliers, including formal supplier performance reviews.- Achieve defined cost savings and other value add initiatives.- Develop strong relationships with internal teams.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Experience in procurement within a similar industry or related spend categories.- Proven proficiency in managing major spend categories and expertise in sourcing processes, preferably in indirect categories.- Strong skills in business process analysis, problem-solving, and data analysis, especially using Excel.- Demonstrated ability in negotiation and contract management, with a solid understanding of business and legal terms.- Impeccable ethical standards both professionally and personally.
