MRAEL in partnership with **SWB** **are seeking a committed and enthusiastic applicant, with a genuine interest in starting a long term trade career within the Mechanical Industry.

**SWB** was established 46 years ago with their branch networks now extended to all of Australia. They have a well-developed network of trained and experienced personnel, complimented by their manufacturers’ engineering departments. With a hands-on attitude, innovative approach and commitment to work in conjunction with their customers, SWB will remain at the forefront of bearings and power transmission supply.

As an **SWB** Apprentice, you will be appointed an MRAEL Field Officer who will assist in guiding you through your trade, making sure every aspect of your training experience is rewarding and professional. The Field Officer provides you with consistent mentoring, support and performance management throughout your apprenticeship while ensuring you progress through your training, and will coordinate off the job training. The Field Officer will have regular meetings to discuss your progression and any challenges you may have along the way.

**Responsibilities**:

- Overhauling gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, driveshafts
- Installing bearings on site
- Dismantling, cleaning, assessing and measuring parts
- Assisting with small machining jobs
- Cleaning of the workship
- Workshop deliveries (local area)
- Assisting with maintaining workshop equipment

**Work Type**

Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday - Friday)

**Requirements**:

- Must be an Australian citizen/resident
- Must be COVID-19 Vaccinated
- Sound level of computer literacy
- A positive quick learning attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude
- Responsible and mature minded
- Drivers licence
