**About the role**:
As the Team Leader, Copywriter, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping educational content that will directly impact student success across NSW. Lead a talented team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, accessible syllabus, learning and assessment materials. Your expertise will be instrumental in upholding the NSW Education Standards Authority’s (NESA) exceptional standards for content clarity, accessibility and consistency.

**On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for**:

- overseeing and coordinating the work of Copywriters and Junior Copywriters, monitoring performance and ensuring the timely delivery of tasks
- liaising with Curriculum Project Managers on work package requirements and overseeing allocation of projects within the team
- reviewing and formatting draft syllabus content ensuring plain English is used and maintaining a keen attention to detail
- support the Digital Curriculum team in preparing content for online formats, including quality assurance processes
- implement and support administrative services, including procedures and templates to enhance team operations.
- demonstrated leadership experience in a digital or print content environment, with a proven track record of fostering collaboration, mentoring team members and driving content quality
- exceptional writing and editing skills, capable of creating both concise and comprehensive content
- a detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organisational skills, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
- familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- training in plain English principles or equivalent practical experience.
