Copywriter

Stake is looking for a **Copywriter **to break barriers with us at our Bondi Junction HQ, with a flexible hybrid working model.

**About this role**

As a Copywriter you'll be part of Stake Create - an in-house team of fellow writers, designers, motion designers. In this particular role, however, you'll work directly with the Growth Squad, to develop communications and ideas for experiments and campaigns aimed at increasing engagement with the Stake product. It's all in the dynamic Marketing team, where progress is tangible and your impact is valued.

We're in an exciting time of growth and your job will develop over time, but core responsibilities will include:

- Writing quick experiments focused on specific conversion objectives, testing different messaging and incentives to discover what is most compelling;
- Working with the Growth Squad to brainstorm ideas and tactics that could become new briefs and campaigns;
- Liaising with the design and motion team to bring your comms to life.

**About you**
- You have at least 3 years of experience working in a creative agency or in a copywriting capacity;
- You're at ease writing longer form content for digital (EDMs, landing pages) and other customer channels, being equally good at distilling things down to an app notification;
- You have a growth mindset, curious about the impact of your copy on customer response, and performance results inspire you to iterate and optimise accordingly;
- You're a grammar boss who winces at the sight of a typo and obsesses over every implication of choosing one word over another - but your attention to detail doesn't paralyse you and you're happy to ‘move fast and break things' when needed.

Prior experience working within a growth or customer engagement team would be preferred, but not essential. It's also an advantage if you're familiar with investing and the markets, but if not, we'll show you the ropes. It's a great area to learn more about.
