Marketing & Sales Officer

Our client is currently on the lookout for a Marketing and Sales officer to join their Training team based in Sydney CBD

Our client works closely with Councils to meet their procurement needs; and build business relationships with the suppliers of goods and services to Councils, ensuring that all parties are working successfully and cohesively with the common aim of achieving best practice.

They are an innovative leader, expert and champion delivering high-value education, procurement solutions and consulting services.

**Your new role**

The Marketing & Sales Officer is responsible for providing all support needed in identifying and generating business leads, raising awareness of the suite of training services and developing/maintaining relationships with existing and new customers.

**Responsibilities include.**
- Carry out market and CRM data analysis to identify new business opportunities, including growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services
- Assist with organising business development meetings, activities and events to promote services
- Build and update the training database in CRM
- Deliver a high-quality service to customers through knowledge, empathy and professionalism
- Deliver clear communications using different forums and provide the expected support
- Effectively develop and implement internal and external working relationships
- Create and disseminate messages through different forums including social media platforms

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Appropriate qualifications in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated marketing, business development, sales or customer service skills
- Demonstrated experience in client sourcing, servicing and data analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating via social media platforms
