**About the role**
As Coordinator of Bitumen and Asphalt Operations you will play a key role in keeping our city moving, not only forward but on those daily trips from A to B. You will do this by planning, programming and delivering sealed road defect repairs within the Ipswich area.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate allocation of resources, budget monitoring and weekly reporting for sealed road defect programs
- Undertake inspections and initial investigation of sealed roads' defects to determine priority, considering response times and community safety
- Investigate sealed road defects to formulate appropriate remedial solutions, exercising initiative and judgement
- Lead a team to deliver successful and efficient road defect solutions
- Build and maintain effective and ethical working relationships with stakeholders, maintain ongoing communication regarding maintenance delivery and customer requests.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate III and Certificate IV in Local Government (Operational Works)
- Current Queensland C class driver’s licence
- Extensive experience in sealed road maintenance operations and a deep understanding of local government procedures, with a proven ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Problem-solving, strong leadership, and excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills

This is a full time permanent with a salary commencing at $102,718 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
