Airborne Electronics Analyst

**Your Role**
As an Airborne Electronics Analyst in the Air Force, you’ll play an exciting role as the eyes and ears of the Air Force. You’ll work onboard the P-8A Poseidon or E-7A Wedgetail using a range of surveillance tools to receive and analyse information in support of missions, operations, or exercises.
**Your duties may include**:
- Using radar to conduct surface surveillance, searches for small targets such as submarine periscopes, weather analysis, terrain avoidance and search and rescue.
- Using Electro-Optics sensors to detect infrared signatures of targets.
- Using Electronic Surveillance Measure sensors to search for, identify, and intercept electromagnetic emissions.
- Using acoustic sensors to detect, classify and track submarines.
You’ll be paid from day one to gain all the skills needed with extensive on-the-job training, all while living an adventurous lifestyle and making a difference to Australia.

**Salary**
Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $90,819.
**Location**
Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley, Williamtown, or Edinburgh.
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
