The Role

In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects - from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, freight and passenger rail, system interchanges and water security.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Use your relevant skills obtained through your advanced diploma in Civil Engineering, along with your experience in Intelligent Transport Systems and related software, to play a key role in our NSW ACT Transport team.
- Undertake various project specific tasks including specialist technical support to current ongoing Overload Control and Monitoring projects, Automatic Number Plate Recognition projects using Azure Cloud Computing to calculate Average Speed Over Distance and Integrating the system to Mobile Applications for use by Traffic Officer and advice and leadership direction to the team on ITS related project assignments and tenders.
- Collaboration between complimentary ITS and Transport Planning teams to co-ordinate distribution of work and resourcing.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will need a relevant tertiary civil engineering qualification with up to 3 years experience as a Civil Drafter. Experience working with ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360 would be advantageous You need to bring your skills and passion for Internet of Things (IoT) to the table to find innovative solutions for our clients.
