**Role Summary**

SNC-Lavalin are on the lookout for an experienced Civil Drafter, who is can handle working across diverse assignments in a multi-disciplinary design team, who’s keen to be involved in leveraging our local presence, to work on complex renewable projects and liaise with our global digital team.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Preparing civil drawings, including general layouts, plans, and profiles, in accordance with established drafting standards, specified contractual requirements and in line with good engineering and drafting practices in Civil3D and CAD
- Ensure drawings are checked, approved, and filed in accordance with the relevant quality system procedure.
- Prepare drafting-related calculations.
- Other tasks as required to support project goals and business activities.

**What will you contribute to the team?**
- Ideally over 3 years’ experience working as a Civil Drafter on a range of multi-disciplinary projects
- Hydroelectric power and other renewable power industry experience is ideal but those with a keen interest to learn will be considered
- Experience in roads, utilities and drainage design as well as power transmission and distribution experience is an advantage.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with AutoCAD are essential as well as skills in Civil3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work alongside engineers and modellers to prepare detailed drawings utilising analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A recognized diploma in Civil / Structural or a related engineering field.
