About the role

Our Brisbane Processing Centre is seeking a Processing Technician to contribute to the efficient, sufficient, and timely production and distribution of safe blood and blood products.

You’ll achieve this through teamwork, collaboration and an uncompromising focus on safety, quality and customer service, taking pride in delivering the right products to the right places at the right time.

**A day as a Processing Technician could see you**:
Unpack shippers and log data into Lifeblood systems

Process and separate blood components

Separate and store red cells

Freeze and store plasma components

Load and unload the rapid plasma freezer

Participate in standard equipment set up, maintenance and cleaning with training, supervision and support

Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend and twist to operate different platforms

Experience working to standard operating procedures in a regulated production environment

Highly developed interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style

Ability to participate in a flexible roster working variable shifts

Strong customer focus with the ability to identify improvement initiatives
