About the Role

The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be responsible for providing passenger and baggage screening services at Brisbane airport. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team which builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Initial screening of passengers at departure
- Inspection of items being loaded onto aircrafts
- Checking of ASIC cards and reasons for entry
- Search of Aircraft, seats, overhead lockers, life jackets, galleries etc
- Check boarding passes and passports of all passengers at the gate
- Complete secondary screening of identified passengers at the gate
- Providing assistance to guests/visitors in areas within the vicinity of the Airport

Skills & Experience
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Currently hold Security Licence
- Currently hold or willing to obtain an ASIC clearance
- Covid Vaccination Records
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Ability to successfully pass a Drug & Alcohol screening
- Flexibility in working hours
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
