Administrative Assistant

Administration Assistant position is available in this leading software development company based in Surry Hills, just a short stroll from Central Station.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player who can assist with the following:
- Answering and transferring calls to appropriate staff
- Allocating incoming jobs to Accounts Team
- Processing and escalating incoming orders
- Working with our office databases including record updates, data entry, customer queries etc.
- Monitoring and documenting all equipment repairs
- Warehouse management, including stock ordering, receipting, stocktake etc.
- Managing contact with 3rd party vendors
- General administrative duties including mailing, meet & greet, stationery ordering, banking, office maintenance etc.
- Assisting Accounts Department with sending invoices and statements
- Customer contact regarding collections
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum of one year administration experience
- Attention to detail and data entry capabilities
- The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- A team member, who can contribute positively to the operations and working relationships
- Good English language, both written and oral
- Has a can-do customer focused attitude
- A pleasant phone manner
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs
