**About us**

YK Education was founded by an NSW Qualified High School teacher with the vision of putting students at the centre of their education by catering to their individual needs. If there are thirty students in the class, there should be thirty modified lessons.

The YK Method combines private tutoring and small group sessions so that we can cater to every student’s unique educational needs and struggles. There are pros and cons to private and group tuition so we've developed a program where students can experience the best of both

We are looking to expand the team to include experienced HSC markers for English and Maths teachers.

**Position - Tasks & responsibilities**
- Teach HSC English to high school students in both private and small group environments between 330 or 430-730pm on Mondays/Tuesdays with the potential to increase days to Wednesday/Thursday
- Teach at our office in St Leonards
- Undergo Tutor training course for 4 sessions to understand the YK-Method

**Qualifications & experience**
- HSC Marking experience in NSW high school with proven track record to improve student outcomes

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Teaching and Training in the office will be with masks
Students/Tutors are spaced out in our 120sqm office
Teach/Learn online when sick

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Shore, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
