**The opportunity**

Our Beachside Holiday Park at Shoal Bay are seeking an enthusiastic Grounds Team Leader to join their dynamic team.

As the Grounds Team Leader, you’ll contribute to the daily operations, management, and improvement of the Holiday Park’s through leadership, innovation and the coordination of the Grounds team.

This hands on role has a key focus on ensuring the parks presentation, grounds, amenities, and assets are maintained to a high standard. As Grounds Team Leader, you will supervise a small team and play an essential role in proactively carrying out a variety of grounds maintenance and improvement activities, including vegetation management, landscaping and horticulture, amenities cleaning, and minor building and structure maintenance.

This position requires you to work 38 hours per week on a 7 day rotating roster. This role also includes participation in our on-call after hours service to provide maintenance assistance to our guests when required on a rotational roster system.
- **This is a permanent opportunity**- working full-time 38 hours / week on a rotating 7 day roster
- **Base Salary Range**: $65,978 to $74,884 pa based on 38 hours / week + 11.5% superannuation + $2,312 retention allowance

- Provide supervision and leadership to the grounds team and assist the Assistant Manager in the day to day operations
- Provide direction to the Grounds team in all their daily activities and duties
- Coordinate grounds maintenance and improvement activities within work schedules including vegetation management, landscaping and horticulture, minor building and structure maintenance, site remediate and preparation for larger scale capital works projects

Please Note: For the purpose of recruitment, the title of Grounds Team Leader has been used to reflect the equivalent industry title. Internally the official title of this position is Guest Services Grounds Team Leader.

- A certificate III in Holiday Park Operations, Landscaping, Horticulture, Building Trades or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in leading a small team
- Demonstrated self-motivation skills and an ability to work in a team environment
- Sound computer literacy skills
