HR Advisor

Blacktown Region. 3-6 Month Contract Role. ASAP start

An exciting opportunity for a solid and experienced contract HR Advisor with strong Recruitment experience, or a Talent Acquisition Specialist with HR expertise, to join this wonderful HR team, for a period up to 6 months with a view towards potential permanent employment on successful completion of the term, based on-site in the Blacktown region.

With an ASAP start available, the primary objective of this role is to provide Generalist HR support, recruitment and partnering services to management and leaders within the business.

Essential to your success in this role is your ability to develop a robust understanding of the business, including their industrial agreement and the Manufacturing Award, and partner with leaders and hiring managers to deliver outstanding results in a challenging market.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Support the HR team with management tasks relating to all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Provide ER/IR guidance on regulations and policies to multiple internal stakeholders across all levels.
- Assist the HR team with an array of HR projects, policy reviews, research and reporting, and delivery of training programs.
- Provide administrative support in various areas, including payroll, data management and maintenance.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks including employee records, letters, contracts and other documentation.
- Facilitating the end-to-end recruitment process, including, job briefings, advertising, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, assessment, contracts/offers and onboarding.
- Proactively follow up on pre-employment progress such as references, medicals and police checks.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources management or equivalent relevant professional experience working in an HR Generalist role.
- Demonstrated experience in an internal recruitment role (3+ years), ideally within a fast paced environment.
- A solid understanding of compliance, legal and industrial relations.
- Superior interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Intermediate Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong stakeholder and issues management skills, and ability to analyse and problem solve.
- Strong administrative and time management skills, including high attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn about our industry and processes.
