The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia's Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Maintenance Operations Planning Analyst to join Aircraft Maintenance Support Services for CH-47F (SG) Chinook with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, located at the Army Aviation Training Centre in Oakey, Queensland.
Our team support flight line operations and deeper maintenance work via day and afternoon shift hours during the week and reasonable hours of overtime are expected to ensure the customer's operational outcomes are achieved.
There may also be a requirement for this position to support work away from the Oakey location for periods of 4 weeks or more each year within Queensland.

**Responsibilities**:
(include but not limited to)
- Provide planning support to the Maintenance Operations Managers and Maintenance Coordinator.
- Maintenance planning and scheduling for maintenance activities associated with the CH-47F aircraft, aircraft components and systems.
- The compilation and issuing of Work Orders and maintenance priorities to maintenance staff, assisting with development and updates of aircraft maintenance schedules to meet program operational requirements and performing reporting of maintenance activities.
- Analyse, plan, organize and control the maintenance and repairs of aircraft and aircraft components using applicable Boeing software and management tools.
- Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance schedules.

Experience/Qualifications

**Essential Criteria**:

- A strong background and an in-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance.
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Maintenance Controller / Planner in an aircraft maintenance environment, or similar role.
- Be familiar with maintenance planning requirements, including maintenance planning software programs such as cMRO, CAMM2, or similar programs.
- Skills to develop and implement new policies, and maintenance programs that will enhance maintenance operations.
- A strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products (in particular excel and project).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to deploy for up to 4 weeks at a stretch on at least 1 to 2 times annually.

**Highly Desirable**:
(Below desirable criteria preferred, but not essential)
- Experience on the CH-47 or other military helicopters.

**To be successful, the applicant must**:

- Be an Australian Citizen to meet Project and Defence security requirements.
- Hold a current Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Hold a high degree of interpersonal skills to work in a dynamic, multi-team environment.
