**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a highly motivate individual to on our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Services team. In this role, you will be working within the framework of the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) approval. As an execution-focused Maintenance Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing program-focused aircraft maintenance and operating activities. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Republic of Singaporean Airforce (RSAF) CH-47F (SG) Chinook Maintenance and Logistics Support Program.

This role is located at the Army Aviation Centre Oakey, Queensland.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans, utilising knowledge of maintenance planning requirements and proficiency with maintenance panning software programs such as cMRO, CAMM2, OPPS, or similar systems.
- Drive continuous improvement in the team's performance and work process through proactive feedback, creative problem solving, and idea generation.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- A strong background and in-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance;
- Familiarity with maintenance planning requirements and experience with maintenance planning software programs;
- Proven track record in overseeing deep maintenance operations with a keen understanding of flight line operations;
- Demonstrated skills in formulating and executing new policies, as well as implementing maintenance programs to elevate overall maintenance operations;
- Minimum of five years of military or commercial aircraft maintenance experience in a management/supervisory role;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Project;
- Experience in managing small to mid-size teams;
- Ability to work in a diverse, inclusive, and cross-cultural environment;
- Ability to meet the requirements to hold a DASR 145 from 4 or equivalent.
