**About the role**

The Data and Insights Analyst (known internally as Demographic and Skills Profile Analyst) is responsible for providing expert analysis of demographic trends and changing skills requirements to support the delivery of high quality strategic advice on future workforce trends and skill needs.

This role demands strong technical capability, including advanced proficiency in data modelling, statistical analysis, and data visualisation. The ability to integrate and analyse data from multiple sources—internal and external—is critical to identifying emerging skill needs, aligning training delivery, and supporting business growth.

**About You**

You are a highly skilled data analyst with demonstrated expertise in undertaking research and analysing data, using multiple sources and drawing meaningful insights to support planning directions and decision making. In addition, you will have advanced technical proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Advanced Microsoft Excel, computational methods and statistical tools to build robust data models.

You have hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, and spatial analysis software, enabling you to present insights in a clear, engaging, and user-friendly format. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to successfully work independently and thrive working as part of a fast-paced and high performing team.
