**Patient Services Assistant - Day Surgery Unit: Casual positions: better work life balance**:

- Available Monday - Friday for morning and afternoon shifts.
- Flexible with swapping shifts and hours worked.

**About the role**

You will be responsible for providing environmental cleaning and patient support services within the 2 Day of Surgery Units.

**_ Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to;_**
- Performing all cleaning tasks to the required infection control standards and within designated timeframe
- Transporting patients, providing refreshments, general cleaning
- Delivering patients luggage
- Utilising equipment and resources effectively and efficiently;
- Completing other tasks as directed by the relevant Supervisor/ Manager.

**About You**

**_ Essential criteria:_**
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Possess a positive “can-do” attitude

**_Desirable criteria:_**
- Certificate II in Health Support Services
- Experience working in hospital cleaning.
