Westpac’s Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) is a greenfield venture, that sits within the Westpac Group, operating under the Westpac license. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive partner and product success embracing digital banking and fintech trends; whilst recognising the challenges of meeting the high customer service standards of our parent organisation and software suppliers’.

This role forms part of the BaaS Technology team, you will be responsible for driving a modern approach to risk management that ensures an effective control environment across inhouse technology, Software-as-a-Service and leveraged technology that supporting Westpac’s Banking-as-a-Service business proposition.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Coordination of day-to-day technology risk processes
- Analysis of risk issues, formulation and execution of action plans liaising with key stakeholders
- Coordination of audit engagements to ensure all evidence is provided in a timely manner
- Working with Security teams to track execution of supplier assessments and remediation of findings.
- Management of technology value chains
- Influence and negotiation to achieve the best risk outcomes
- Working with peers to drive a modern risk culture across the team

**What do I need?**
- Background in technology audit, risk and controls management
- A firm understanding of a financial services controls operating environment, software development practices and service management
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Up to date on industry trends
- Cross Domain experience especially regarding Retail Banking highly beneficial
