Join our dynamic and highly motivated team of experienced risk professionals, where you'll foster a strong risk culture, drive innovation, and make a tangible impact. In this pivotal role, you'll partner with Macquarie's businesses to manage Technology Risk in alignment with our Operational Risk Management Frameworks. With global exposure across regions including the UK, US, Asia, and Sydney, you'll engage with diverse teams and stakeholders while contributing to the assurance function.

As a key member of the team, you'll take ownership of assurance and control testing activities, including conducting walkthroughs, preparing insightful reports, and engaging with senior stakeholders. Beyond testing, you'll proactively identify operational issues and control breakdowns, offering strategic advice to address challenges and prevent future occurrences. By leading risk incident investigations, you'll uncover root causes and deliver robust solutions, all while embedding a proactive risk culture.
Harnessing advanced data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL, you will drive innovation by automating control testing processes and delivering actionable insights to strengthen risk oversight. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support strategic projects that address evolving business needs. You'll be part of a growing global team, with the flexibility to engage in risk advisory functions when assurance demand is low.

- Specialised knowledge in managing risks related to trading platforms, market data systems, and other specialised technologies is valuable
- Proficiency in process automation, coding, and data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or SQL, enabling the delivery of innovative solutions and actionable insights

- Highly motivated and adaptable, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced, and enterprise agile environments, with prior experience in equities or financial markets is highly regarded.
