**Make an impact at Serco**

As an Environmental Attendant at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you will ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by delivering high-quality waste management services and supporting infection prevention protocols. Working within a supportive team, you'll contribute to a collaborative culture focused on patient care. Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 5:54 am-2:00 pm or 1:54 pm-10:00 pm.

Key responsibilities include:

- Removing waste receptacles from various locations around the Hospital
- Ensuring there are clean receptacles readily available
- Aligning with sustainability targets
- Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
- Adhering to infection control procedures and hospital protocols
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly

**To be successful in this role you’ll have**:

- Previous experience in a Waste Management role
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and infection control procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
