**About the Role**:
Due to the ongoing growth of the Rivalea business, we are currently recruiting an experienced **Cold Storage Coordinator** to join our team in a newly created position. Based at our Diamond Valley Pork (DVP) processing site in Laverton, and reporting directly to the Rivalea Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for the effective planning and optimization of cold storage warehousing for our Pork Division.
- Build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time
- Promptly resolve cold storage warehousing issues
- Analyse and optimise the Company’s cold storage strategy and pallet utilization
- Understand current cold storage rates for your allocated markets
- Negotiate with 3PLs and stay informed on developments to minimise costs
- Ensure customer minimum shelf-life requirements are adhered to
- Lead the stocktake process
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
- Process warehousing claims and invoicing
- Communicate stock issues to relevant departments
- Ensure all pallets and equipment is reconciled across all sites
- Investigate pallet claims as required
- Optimize pallet control accuracy and traceability with relevant 3PLs, transport companies and customers

**About You**:

- Previous Warehousing and Logistics experience in a similar role
- Previous Chep pallet management experience
- Demonstrated experience with basic cause & effect relationships
- Responds calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focus
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Working knowledge of WH&S, Quality Assurance, and People & Performance procedures
- Ability to interact effectively with team members and management
- Ability to maintain records and analyse data to produce accurate reports
- Holder of a current driver’s licence
